I don’t care if you talk to other guys. I don’t care if you’re friends with other guys. I don’t care if a guy calls or texts you. But if it’s at 2 in the morning, I’m going to be a little concerned. Not a lot of things should be that important at 2 AM.
And when I tell you that you’re beautiful, gorgeous, or cute, I fucking mean it. Don’t tell me it’s not true, it won’t make me believe it any less so there’s no point in disagreeing. It’s a wonderful thing when you believe it yourself too.
It is usually expected of a man to go out of his way to do things for his woman like opening the door for her, paying for dinner, and treat her with respect. I don’t ever want you feeling bad for any of it. Just smile, that’s all I ask for.
I love when you initiate the kiss when we’re together. I love it even more if you’re willing to do in public. It’s not about giving others an intense display of affection, and making them feel uncomfortable. It’s about not letting anyone else’s presence dictate how we should, or shouldn’t love each other wherever and whenever.
I appreciate but the fact that you want to get all dolled up before we go out. I know you do it more for you than you do, me, but it is still worth acknowledging. Just know that seeing you in your pajamas, or some fancy dress won’t make a difference when it comes to how attracted I am to you. Personally, I love it when you’re wearing one of my t-shirts and some boxer shorts.
Sarcasm has always been our language. It’s nice to joke around with each other. It comes easy. But it’s just as easy to misinterpret a lot of things we say to each other, so I guess we need to make things pretty clear as well.
I know you’re bound to have your celebrity crushes and whatnot. I don’t care, they’re famous for plenty of reasons. One of them is probably their dashingly good looks. Remember, I’m just trying to keep up.
I do my best to keep your eyes on me, and I hope that’s good enough. Maybe it’s hard to believe, but I’m one of the nice guys. But at the same time, I’m practical. Nothing new. I have good, honest intentions.I’ll stop whatever I’m doing to let you know that I love you. I just want to make you smile, and your heart smile. And that will never not be true.

The hardest part is always wanting to be with each other. But the only thing that makes it easier, is using every alternative method there is to be together. Phone, webcamming, etc. Settling for what we have at the moment pays off in the end though.
It’s a test. Seeing how much we really want to be together. Whether we want to enough, to be patient and deal with all the bullshit that happens before the next time we see each other, or finding out that it was all just a waste of time and effort. I don’t want it to be a waste of time. I don’t think you do either.
But until then, I’ll be happy with what we can have right now. Because a little bit of something is better than a whole lot of nothing. And a little bit of something means a whole lot of everything if it’s with you.
